Give God Praise
If sheep could talk, they’d probably want to tell their shepherds what a great job they do caring for the sheep. Day after day the sheep benefit from the way the shepherds protect them, find them food and clean water, and keep them from getting lost. The Bible is full of people giving praise to God for all kinds of reasons—because they had a good harvest, because they heard good news from His word, because they won a victory... Mary, Jesus’ mother, gave God praise for who He is and what He’s done—for being her Savior, caring for her, and choosing her for such an important job of being Jesus’ mother. We were made to give God praise, too! That’s why it makes our hearts extra happy when we praise the Lord!
