Be HumbleSample

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW
When you see someone every day, it’s hard to see the ways they’re changing. We’re so used to them that we don’t always notice when something is different. But when you don’t see someone for a long time, it’s easier to see how they’ve changed when you run into them again. Our personal growth works the same way. It can be hard to see changes in ourselves over time. Maybe we’re even frustrated that things don’t seem to be changing the way we want them to be. The good news is that when we follow Jesus, we can trust that we’re always changing. God’s Spirit is always working in us to grow us into more of the person we were made to be. That’s where our confidence can come from!
Today, write down ways you’ve seen your life change and grow because of Jesus. If you have trouble getting started, ask a parent, trusted friend, or Small Group Leader for help.
