Prayers for Those Who Don't Know JesusSample

Day 4: For God to destroy strongholds
For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4
Did you know the Bible speaks of strongholds at least 50 times? Sometimes it refers to physical structures like in Judges 6:2. Other times stronghold refers to personal challenges that are difficult to overcome.
A stronghold could be a problem with anger, lust, self-image or any number of other challenges. When sinful patterns get established, they can form a stronghold in our life. This is true whether you are a Christian or not.
In this devotion series we are focusing on praying for those that are outside of God’s family. They have strongholds too. Pray that they would see their strongholds very clearly and that they would cry out to God for help.
Pray that God would destroy any stronghold that prevents them from seeing and following Jesus.

About this Plan

This five-day devotional uses a scriptural foundation to focus on praying for those who do not know Jesus. If we are intentional and consistent in praying, we will see many people open their hearts to Jesus.
