Genesis (Book 1/66) – A Book of the Law
Genesis tells the story of the creation of the world, the fall of humanity, and God's covenant to the world through the Israelite patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It explains the origins of sin and God's plan for redemption through His chosen people. The narratives of Joseph and his brothers set the stage for the Israelites' eventual descent into Egypt. When reading the Bible, it is essential to interpret it literally until it forces you to interpret it figuratively. The promise of a Savior is hinted at throughout, particularly in the prophecy of the seed of the woman crushing the serpent's head, pointing to Jesus as the ultimate fulfillment.
