Rhythm of Rest: Following Jesus' Pace in a Busy WorldSample

We all know what it feels like to be tired. We live in a world that seems to value always being involved in as many activities as possible so we don’t miss out. A survey of 100 students taken in 2023 showed that half of the students had persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness. Additionally, 32% of students aged 13-18 suffer from some type of anxiety disorder. If you’re not struggling, you probably know someone who is.
It's clear that the weight of life can be heavy. Something is wrong, and something needs to change. Jesus offers the greatest solution in Matthew 11:28-30. Living a life of rest starts with Jesus, but are you going too fast to even recognize that you're tired and need rest? It's time to pause and begin to live life from a different lens. Jesus wants to take the heaviness in our lives from us, but true rest can only take place when we choose to follow him. Following Jesus starts with a conversation–what would it look like if you talked with him today?
