God's Redemption Story (The Prophets)Sample

Jeremiah Week 3 – Day 5
Within a few chapters of existence, humanity sins and needs a redeemer. God responds with a clear plan for His Son Jesus to redeem us and put an end to the curse of sin. Over the thousands of years that transpire from Genesis to Revelation, God’s people repeatedly forget God’s promise of redemption. In our own lives, the temptation to forget God’s promise of redemption is equally real.
If you look at the list of Jesus’s earthly ancestors in Matthew (including Jehoiachin who we see in Jeremiah), you would be hard-pressed to find someone who didn’t experience pain, hardship, or sorrow. Yet through those individual stories, God brought the Redeemer.
Time, circumstances, doubts, sin. None of these things hold power over God’s ability or willingness to fulfill His promise.
