### The Chief Theme In our final devotional of this series, we reach the heart of Romans: the glory of God. This paramount theme underpins every aspect of the epistle, revealing the depth and breadth of God’s character and His redemptive plan for humanity. The book of Romans unfolds the splendor of God’s sovereignty, righteousness, and grace. It tells us that everything, from the unity of the church to the clarity of the gospel and the pursuit of evangelism and missions, is ultimately for the glory of God. Paul begins his letter by asserting his apostleship and purpose to proclaim the gospel of God, a message promised long ago and fulfilled in Jesus Christ for the sake of His name among all nations.
