It can feel intimidating to take your questions to someone with more power or authority than you, like a coach, a parent, or a principal. Not knowing how they will respond can contribute to that fear. Luckily, we know God is gracious, full of mercy, willing to forgive, and always ready to meet us where we are. We don’t have to live in fear of God.
This week, think about how you communicate when you feel confident and bold, versus when you feel unsure or intimidated. Reflect on how you typically communicate with God. Are you bold or fearful? Confident or unsure? Remember, we’re invited to “come boldly to the throne” because our God is gracious.
