The TemptationsSample

One of the most quoted and well-known passages of the Bible comes from a prayer Jesus shared that we refer to as “The Lord’s Prayer.” At the heart of Jesus’ example of how to pray is an invitation that might feel easy to skip. This prayer invites us to ask God to be the provider of all the things we need so we can live a life of continual reliance on God instead of on ourselves. When we trust God to provide for our physical needs, we also acknowledge our need for God’s presence in our relationships, as well as the internal challenges we face.
Today, set alarms on your phone to say this verse at three different times as a reminder to trust God for what you need.
