Altar Ego

DAY 32 OF 35

Being a person of integrity can afford you great benefits as you read about yesterday; however, the opposite is quite true. The opposite of integrity is hypocrisy. The word hypocrite can be translated as meaning a play actor and a person who is acting one way even though they are very different. Jesus couldn’t stand hypocrites. He often rebuked them during his earthly ministry. He would tell the hypocrites He encountered that they were putting on a show on the outside, but not living with integrity on the inside. If you are lacking integrity, then it’s time for you to lay down and sacrifice who you are in your sinful nature and become a person of integrity. What are some of the consequences you’ve experienced or observed of being a hypocrite?
