In the Garden With Jesus - a Lent Journey for TeensSample

Jesus prays, I pray.
To want to follow Jesus in prayer, I first need to believe that it’s possible, and that it’s worth it. The disciples thought so. They ask Him, “Lord, teach us to pray…” (Luke 11:1). They saw Him pray and the effect that prayer had on His life.
Prayer is a connection, communication and relationship exchange. Once you experience something of this, the word “prayer” becomes a wonderful word. It no longer means guilt, a burden or obligation, it means life.
This may take you to a place where you long to be like Jesus, live like Jesus. The reality is, we can’t do it on our own. Jesus has to help.

About this Plan

You are invited to a Lent journey where we will spend 40 days with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane - the place where He was extremely vulnerable and open to the Father’s will. Here, He shows us a glimpse of His courage to wrestle with His humanity.
