Learning to P.R.A.Y. With LightglidersSample

R - Read
The Scriptures faithfully reveal to us who God is. They share the true story of His love for us. Therefore, we should use the Scriptures as a way to connect our thoughts to God’s love and truth. And, as we read the Scriptures, we can use what has been written as a guide for our prayers. We can even read how Jesus taught His disciples to pray. Allow God to stir your heart through the Scriptures today, and talk to Him about what He is doing in your life!
Here are some things to do and think about today:
- Read Matthew 6:9-13 and Psalm 23
- Watch the prayer video, The Lord’s Prayer.
- How can you use the words of Jesus as a guide for your prayers?
- Use the verses from Psalm 23 as a guide for your prayers this week!
