Daughter, Do You Know Who You Are?Sample

You Are Forgiven
Some days, it’s hard to forgive others and even forgive ourselves for the mistakes we have made in the past. Can I tell you that Jesus has already forgiven you? Yes! In the eyes of God, when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you were washed clean and forgiven because of God’s mercy, kindness, and grace towards you! When we make a mistake, it’s easy to feel condemned and unforgiven, but the Bible also says in 1 John 3:20 that even when we do “feel” guilty, God is greater than our emotions. Our emotions are based on the present circumstances and that can change in an instant.
God’s Word remains the same and will never change and when He says you're forgiven, you need to receive that forgiveness, despite what your emotions and feelings are telling you. We do not walk by our emotions, but we walk in faith knowing that Jesus’ blood is greater than our mistakes. We can continue to walk in forgiveness when we are quick to confess our sins, repent, and turn our hearts back to Jesus (1 John 1:9)
I want to encourage you to take some time to meditate on these scriptures and allow the Word of God to penetrate your heart! Sis, you are forgiven and now it’s time to forgive yourself!
Prayer for today:
“Father, I thank you for forgiving me for my sins and mistakes. I ask you Lord to help me forgive myself and others that have hurt me. Today Lord, I pray for strength to forgive and for increased revelation and knowledge on Your forgiveness and love towards me. By faith, I declare that I am forgiven and washed clean from all of my sins past, present and future and I will continuously strive to be more like Christ from this day forward in Jesus’ name, amen”
