3 Days to Ship God's GraceSample

Day 3: Blessed with Extravagant Grace
God blesses us richly. He first blessed us by choosing us and predestinating us for adoption (Ephesians 1:4–5). Once we’re adopted, God gives us his glorious grace, according to Ephesians 1:6. That grace is God’s unmerited favor.
On day one when we talked about being distributors of grace and peace, we mentioned that grace is like getting what you’ve dreamt about without having done anything to earn it. This grace is unbelievable. And the fact that Jesus would die on the cross for our sins so that we can experience this grace and wonderful relationship with God is a tremendous miracle.
When reading Ephesians 1:6–8, the Apostle Paul appreciates the grace of God we've been given. We’re freely redeemed according to the riches of God’s grace. We don’t receive just a piece of the grace; we are given unlimited forgiveness in proportion to God’s riches.
And don’t forget that our God is loaded. Paul says that God lavishes his grace. This grace is given in large amounts. God doesn’t hold back releasing grace to us, but we are not always as quick to give away this extravagant grace that we receive daily.
It seems apparent that God wants us to make a difference in the world by being intentional about distributing grace (and peace) in our everyday interactions. As Christ-followers, we are equipped to lavishly ship grace and peace to every part of our sphere of influence. And we don’t have to worry that we’ve given too much. As it’s freely given to us, we can freely give to others.

About this Plan

God’s grace is a necessary part of our Christian walk. However, believers shouldn’t only be receivers of God’s amazing grace, we should give it just as much as we receive it. This three-day plan explores the topic of grace and predestination and how we can distribute God’s grace to our sphere of influence.
