7 Prayers to Start the New YearSample

[ Ezekiel 11:19 ](https://www.biblestudytools.com/ezekiel/11-19.html) says, “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.” God, we are surrounded by people who do not know you or recognize your voice. We pray for the courage to evangelize to the people you have placed in our lives to help point them towards you. We pray the Holy Spirit creates moments of openings where we can share our relationship with you. We pray to fight against the awkward tension of sharing our faith that this world can create. Instead, we pray to focus on the story of redemption in our own lives and spread the good news to those we love so much. We thank you for mending any division in our hearts so we can be complete in you. We pray to show the new spirit you created in us to others and be bold in doing so. We love you, amen. Personal testimony will always be a way to point others to God because they can see the work he has done in your own life and what he could do in theirs. Think back to when you first accepted Jesus and all that he has done. When the time comes, share your story with a loved one and celebrate the work of God!
