Walking in the Consciousness of God’s PresenceSample

Walking in the Consciousness of God’s Presence

DAY 1 OF 3

Walking in the Consciousness of God’s Presence \- Introduction " Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain .” - I Corinthians 15:1-‬2 NKJV As a beloved son of God, you already have the presence of God, because you are in Christ and His Spirit is in you, but you have to walk in this consciousness. How do you walk in the consciousness of the presence of God? Commit to memory the finished work of Christ through His death, burial and resurrection. The consciousness of Christ that you have and walk in, is to the degree of the finished work you have committed to memory. Always remind yourself who you are in Christ. Every reminder of the gospel of God’s grace is never in vain. “ My beloved ones, don’t ever limit your joy or fail to rejoice in the wonderful experience of knowing our Lord Jesus! I don’t mind repeating what I’ve already written to you because it protects you… ” - Philippians 3:1 TPT What does committing the finished work to memory do? By keeping the finished work of Christ in your memory, it gets rid of sin consciousness and activates the powerful presence of God in you. One of the things that can stop you from walking in the consciousness of God's presence is being conscious of your sin and flaws- this is also known as sin consciousness. From sin consciousness, you come into self-consciousness - where you start doing right by yourself and by your own strength. Self-consciousness is just as destructive as sin-consciousness. However, when you commit the gospel to memory, it takes both sin-consciousness and self-consciousness away from you, and brings you into son (sonship) consciousness. What is Son Consciousness? Son consciousness is understanding what the Son (Christ) has done. Christ gave us His life, we have God’s life. Glory to God! Know that you are now a son and be mindful that you have the life of Abba. The life of Abba is the presence you command and carry with you everywhere you go. Once your attention moves to what the Son has, and you are conscious of His life, you become a superman. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” - Galatians 2:20 NKJV Therefore, you are a walking God. The Son is the Father in the flesh, and the Holy Spirit is the Father in the believer. You must be convinced of this truth. “ But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” - 1 Corinthians 6:17 NKJV. Know who you are! You have the God-Life and you are in the God-class. Any teaching of the gospel that preaches the forgiveness of sins alone, hasn't done justice to the gospel. The gospel is not about forgiveness of sin alone - Christ forgave our sins and also gave us His life. “ Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, He got us into life! One man said no to God and put many people in the wrong; one Man said yes to God and put many in the right .” - Romans 5:18-19 MSG The more you are conscious of this, the more you will see the palpable manifest presence of God on another level. The most dangerous man in the world is a believer who KNOWS that he is a believer .
