If you go on any road trip, you will inevitably drive through the middle of nowhere. And when you end up in the middle of nowhere, you are usually surrounded by fields of wildflowers and random brush. I always wonder how those flowers grow and survive. To my knowledge, plants need water, sunlight, pruning, and care. So, who is doing that in the middle of nowhere?

Jesus tells us God looks after and cares for the wildflowers of the field. So, if God looks after something so small, why would God not look after you and me? Every day, no matter what is going on in your life or the world, you can rest assured that God cares for you!

Today, thank God for that care, even when you don’t ask for it.
