30 Day Prayer Challenge for Your HusbandSample

“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Dear Lord,
I pray for a husband who loves the Word. That means he loves You! Thank You, Lord, that my husband seeks first the Kingdom and all Your Righteousness. I pray right now that where he has made his belly (appetites) his god, You would reveal it to him. Develop in him a desire where he thrives from every word that comes from Your Mouth. I thank You for a husband who is awake spiritually and when the enemy comes to tempt him, he knows how to use the Word as his weapon of defense. Strengthen his spiritual muscles today, Lord.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
Challenge: Pause and reflect. Ask yourself, "Have I been a stumbling block to my husband through my actions, words, or deeds?" We want to always make sure that we don't stand in the way of our husbands striving to live out the Word. If something comes to mind, ask God for forgiveness and apologize to your husband for not being led by the Spirit. Communicate to him that your desire is to be his helper and encourager to achieve greatness in the Kingdom of God.
