30 Day Prayer Challenge for Your HusbandSample

“Husbands, love your wives [with an affectionate, sympathetic, selfless love that always seeks the best for them] and do not be embittered or resentful toward them [because of the responsibilities of marriage].”
Dear Lord,
I submit my life to You. Teach me how to be a wife to my husband. Show me how to love him right where he is. I never want to be harsh or insensitive towards him, but affectionate and empathetic to his needs. I want to love him the way You Love him, desiring only him. Lord, give me the words to build up his confidence, encouraging him to be the husband you created. I am his helper. I pray for him, and he prays for me. I honor the covenant vow we made to each other, finding great pleasure in being his wife and the responsibilities of marriage.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
Challenge: Now go and revisit your wedding vows. Maybe you wrote your vows. Maybe you used the traditional wedding vows. Ask yourself, "Am I holding up my end of the deal?" In what ways can I improve the vows I made to my husband? Ask God to strengthen you to do so.
