Community In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus lovingly calls us to embrace our role as lights in this world: "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." By reflecting the character of Christ, we become beacons that guide others towards God's redemptive love. Let us not hide our light, fearing rejection or worldly opinions. Instead, let us courageously shine in our communities, making a lasting impact through our actions and words. As we do, people will witness the transformational power of Christ in us, and God will be glorified. Today, let us purposefully be the light that brightens our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and social circles. By living out our faith authentically and compassionately, we participate in God's plan to draw all people to Himself.
