The Old Testament discusses a time when peace will be ultimate. Isaiah 9:6 says that the child born is the Prince of Peace. As He comes to rule His ever increasing government, peace will be universal. This will be shalom without end or borders. Micah 5:4, 5a gives a very similar prophecy foretelling Jesus’ majestic reign.
