Jesus Is Greater Than AllSample

Jesus shows what God is like
“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature” (Hebrews 1:3).
Jesus revealed a lot about God during His earthly life. For about three years, He traveled throughout Israel preaching. But even when He was not speaking, Jesus showed what God is like. He was full of grace and truth, just like His Father (see John 1:14). This showed in His very life. Jesus was like a living portrait of God, since He was “the exact imprint of His nature”. He was identified in the closest possible way with God the Father, and therefore rightly called “God with us” (Matthew 1:22-23).
Romans 1:20 says that God’s eternal power and divine nature are made clear in His creation. So, all humans can have some basic knowledge about God. But when Jesus came, He revealed to us much more about God’s character than we can ever deduce from nature.
God is all-powerful and holy and the supreme Ruler of the universe. But His glory shines most in Jesus, a man who looked just like any ordinary human (at least for most of His time on earth). For God’s greatest glory is not His divine nature, but His character of truth and grace and selfless love.
What do you find most glorious about God? Why does this appeal to you?
