God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)Sample

God had given the Israelites clear instructions for preparing the Passover meal and leaving Egypt. He wasn’t trying to surprise them or be sneaky. Exodus 13:4 says God called their attention to the miracle he was about to pull off. And in the very next verse, he tells the Israelites to make sure they tell future generations about it, to brag about what God did for them, and to praise him for it.
Some four thousand years later, this is a practice modern Christians have forgotten how to do. Today, let’s pick up our heads and look around for how God works in our lives. Then, let’s encourage our friends and families with those stories.
