The Rock on Which It Is Built (S1-E4)Sample

Follow Me!
Imagine the scene: Jesus, a carpenter, walks along the shore. He sees two fisherman, Peter and Andrew, casting their nets. Then he speaks words that will change everything: "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
Without hesitation, they leave their nets behind. No time to calculate the cost or ask for details – just obedience. Soon after, He calls James and John, and they do the same.
That moment is remarkable for its simplicity and its boldness. One command. One invitation. And yet the choice to follow reshapes their entire lives.
What did they see in Jesus that made them drop everything? Was it the authority in His voice, the compassion in His eyes, the sense that He carried divine power? Perhaps they glimpsed what Peter would later declare: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Whatever it was, they recognized that following him was worth everything. Their response was radical, but so was the promise that followed. Jesus not only called them to follow—he gave them a vision: “I will make you fishers of men.”
For seasoned fishermen, this must have sounded mysterious. Yet Jesus was showing them a new purpose: to see people as he sees them, to love as he loves, and to draw others into God’s kingdom.
That same call echoes today. Jesus still says, “Follow me.” It’s an invitation to leave behind whatever keeps us from him and to join his mission of transforming lives. Following Jesus will always cost something—but it will always lead to more than we could imagine.
