Don't Worry 5 Day DevotionalSample

Day Three
About Tomorrow
Promise:
Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” Matthew 6:34 (TPT)
Reflection:
You can learn from God's wise words, where He tells us not to worry about tomorrow. In other words, do not waste today worrying about a day that has not come yet. Instead, focus on living in the present, as each day. God's promise to provide for you every day is a sure foundation. Find comfort in knowing that God will work all things according to His perfect will, whether financial, relational, or personal. Taking small steps and focusing on one day will reduce worrying and build trust in God's plan.
Prayer:
Dear God, I am grateful for the essential things that sustain life - sunlight, oxygen, water, and seeds that grow into food. Thank you for providing for me every day. I want to remember all the ways you show your love to me. I pray for your peace, favor, and prosperity in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Declaration:
I affirm that I am resolute, composed, attentive, and purposeful in striving to become the optimal version of myself as intended by God.

About this Plan

Worry is a human emotion that can overwhelm any person without an anchor of hope from Scripture to rely on. A peaceful existence is possible when we put the Word of God in our hearts. God's promises give us the fighting power to resist worry with confidence in God and His divine power working on our behalf. Trust is the eliminator of worry. © 2023 by Francine Pierson.
