God dwells in the realm of eternity. He cannot be hemmed in by any barrier: not time, space, nor any smallness of understanding we project onto him. When frustrations arise today, remember that they will not last. They will pass. When troubles feel overwhelming to you, do as Paul did: see them as opportunities to persevere in grace, knowing that they produce an eternal glory. When this one, short life is over, you will enter into the fullness of eternity. What a glorious hope this is. Lord, help me to keep my problems in perspective today, remembering that you are above them all. You are not fazed by the things that faze me. I’m so grateful for this.
