The EndSample

Followers of Christ have been awaiting His return since the very day He left the disciples. Every generation since that time has taken Jesus’ words to heart that the time is near and has remained watchful for His return. The disciples made frequent reference to Christ’s imminent return during the formation of the first church in the Book of Acts. Jesus also referenced His return as He ascended into heaven stating that He would return to earth in the same way He left. After you read today’s passages, ask yourself these questions: What did I learn about God? What did I find interesting about what I read? When you think about Jesus returning to earth in such a dramatic way, how does that make you feel?
