Have you ever had to build something without having any instructions? Maybe you tried to build Legos, but you lost the instruction manual that it came with. When things like this happen, you can feel like giving up. It’s hard to know what to do without a guide because you have all these pieces that go together somehow but you don’t know where to start. It can be really easy to give up when you don’t have any steps to follow.

Just like that, the Bible is our guide in life and our faith.

A couple of years ago I reached a point in my life where I really needed help and I didn’t know what to do next. Before I reached out to anyone, I ran to God and wept. It was then that I started to read the Bible and understand it on a deeper level for the first time. What I read gave me hope and purpose. I don’t know where you are in life today, but I do know that God’s Word can bring you life and encourage you no matter what you’re going through.

Today as you read the Bible, pray that God will use what you read to guide you in whatever it is you are going through right now.
