We have been given a surplus as the result of Jesus’ work. John 1:16 says, “Of His fullness you have received, grace upon grace.” There is nothing more we need from God. We need to simply explore all that has already been given to us. The journey of our life is exploring all that He has already provided for us. It’s awakening to the treasure He has placed inside of us. The ultimate treasure being Himself. Galatians 2:20 says, “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” Both the systems of the world and false religion teach us that you must get outside of yourself to find what you need. The idea is that what you need is beyond what is in you. In Christ, everything we will ever need has already been supplied within us and our awareness of our oneness with Him means we are tuned to His abundant flow. The illusions of separation and distance have disappeared as the vapors they are. We can be confident in our union with Him as confidence is the consequence of oneness. The pin code to the Kingdom of God is: In Christ. These two words are some of the most eye-popping and jaw-dropping in all of history and creation. Galatians 1:15-16 says, “But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by grace, to reveal His Son in me.” What an incredible reality! His Son IN Us. We have been included in His plan. We have been invited into His life. We have been joined together to extend the Father’s business into creation. The tentacles of toil lose their grip when we simply fall into the truth that we are in Christ and He is in us. It is here, we are at peace. Romans 14:17 says, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” When we know we have been right with God (righteousness), then we can experience peace because we have been made right with God. We relax in His finished work. As we experience this peace that surpasses understanding, we experience joy because we are at peace, which is resulting from being made right with God. Just breathe this in. What an amazing reality! The fullness of God has been shared with us. This encompasses a supply so vast, so eternal, and so difficult to comprehend. We will spend all of eternity exploring this expansive supply and still not reach the end of it. He has not withheld Himself from us. He has shared Himself, His world, and His abundance with His children. We now can with child-like faith and eyes of wonder, traverse these wild lands of heaven and revel in all that He has provided. Speak Up: Declaration I receive the fullness of God that has been shared with me. Father, awaken me to this never-ending supply that you have given me. I declare that I am IN CHRIST! This reality has opened the wells of abundance and provided everything I will ever need. I have been made right with God and thus, peace and joy are my portions to be experienced. Toil has no place to land on in my life now that I am living in the rest found in my Father. I choose to relax in the finished work of Christ. Thank you, Father, I am your child and today I choose to live in child-like faith. I am going to open my eyes in wonder to be reminded of all that you have done and all that you have given me.
