Heaven on earth is not us being surround by a bunch of people who look just like us. In fact, the Bible paints a picture of what heaven looks like and it is the exact opposite. Heaven is people from all ethnic backgrounds confessing Jesus as Lord. When we pray for heaven on earth, we are praying that everyone, no matter their ethnic background, come to know and have faith in Jesus. Today in your prayer time, take a moment to pray for a different country. Pray that God's presence be made known there and that people come to faith in Jesus. Heaven is not just people who look like you, Heaven is all of God's uniquely made people coming together to worship Him.
