Faith Over Fear: Transitioning to College

DAY 10 OF 10

Constant Change The transition to college is definitely monumental. Our lives, however, are composed of multiple transitions. Since we were young, we have experienced many changes, some big and some so small that we may not even remember them. For me, the transition to college was the first change that really challenged me in multiple aspects. I believe that this is just the start to a life of exciting and challenging changes. Change is such an interesting topic. No matter how many times we experience change in life, the surrounding circumstances make it feel like a whole new adventure every time. I urge you to remember the topics in this devotional no matter what changes may be present in your life. I am so grateful that I have learned these lessons because I am now hopeful for smoother transitions throughout the rest of my life. God is a Way Maker. He knows our path long before we do. When in doubt, turning to Him should always be our first instinct. He may not make everything clear to us at once, but He will make us feel secure. I am blessed to know God. Many people do not know Him, and I cannot imagine how hard change would be to cope with if that was the case. Change is all about newness and uncertainty, which is exciting when you know that God is at your side, but it is probably terrifying without that knowledge. We should be grateful that we know God and follow Him. The idea of discipleship entered my mind during college. It is our duty to share the Good News with others. You do not have to go on a mission trip or become a pastor to do this. It can be as simple as inviting your friends to church or Bible study. You could wear a cross necklace and be open to explaining why you do so if someone asks. As long as we are open to sharing His love, God will provide us with opportunities to do just that. Prayer Lord, thank You for teaching us Your way. The Bible is an amazing gift to us because we are able to read Your words and learn directly from our Creator. Help us to always start by looking to You. Thank You for abundant grace and for giving us purpose. I pray that we all live out our faith by sharing Your Word with others. We pray all of this in Your name. Amen. Want more content like this? Connect with Meghan at [ www.faithoverfear.me ](http://www.faithoverfear.me/)
