Resurrection!Sample

Verse 1 tells us that Jesus’ resurrection occurs “after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning.” After the rest of the sabbath, Jesus rises again. As a new week was beginning, a new creation was beginning too. This is why for millennia Christians have gathered on Sunday mornings, the day after the sabbath, to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
