Start the Party - High SchoolSample

When you look at all of the problems in the world, do you ever feel as if there’s too much going on for you to make a difference? In some cases, I have felt like there are just so many people in the world, so something I do doesn’t seem as if it really matters. Sometimes the problem seems too complicated or too big—like it’s completely out of my hands. But hear this: God works in each one of these problems, and God made us all with the ability to help each other out. So that one small action you do that doesn’t seem to make a difference—think of what would happen if everyone thought that way. And God calls us to help with one especially huge mission of spreading God’s word. God made all of us with a purpose: to help share His incredible news. Maybe for you, this looks like inviting someone to church, praying for them, or even just sitting and talking with someone you typically wouldn’t. One invitation or chat with someone could completely change their life and point them to God. Isn’t that amazing? This week, ask God to show you opportunities to direct others toward God. This could be through prayer, showing God’s love and kindness, or even sharing truths you find in the Bible with them. We all get to play a part in spreading the truth that God is, has been, and will always be with us.
