LENT - a Journey for Teens: The Places We GoSample

Taking Stock of my Own Journey
When you go on a journey, sometimes you have to stop before you can go further. Usually, you take a quick bathroom break, dad checks if the luggage is still there and of course, you fill that always-hungry stomach of yours. At last, you check Google Maps, just to make sure you’re on the correct route.
On this Lent adventure, you are invited to do a revision prayer at the end of each week. This just means that you revisit what stood out to you, what you want to think or pray about some more.
Exercise:
Choose the one day that stood out to you the most and think about what you read, heard or learned. Revisit the notes you made in your adventure journal and read it back to yourself. Always invite the Holy Spirit into this time of reflection, and talk to Him about it.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, give me the grace to keep my eyes on You and see You more clearly. In Jesus‘ Name, Amen.

About this Plan

This Lent plan invites you to face that which you so easily avoid - your humanity, your brokenness, your sadness and disappointments. For the next 40 days, we will embark on an adventure filled with some alone time, prayer and fasting. Each day will provide a scripture, a guide, an exercise and a grace prayer which you can pray throughout your day.
