Day 3 of 7
We endeavor to write authentic music from the heart about life’s highs and lows. At first glance ‘Fine Fine Life’ might seem to be a bit of a happy, snappy tune, but there’s also a kind of depth to this song.
We truly believe that if anyone had a right to acknowledge the ‘fine’r aspects of life, it’d be us as believers! The way we see it is when we’re really wrapped up in God’s plan and trust that He has our best interests at heart, it’s hard not to crack a smile, it’s hard not to shout, it’s hard not to do a little dancing.
Proverbs 15 gives us a few examples of this; verse 13 “A happy heart makes the face cheerful.” Verse 30 says, “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.”
With so many things in the world that can tear us down, it’s amazing how a little smile and a gracious word will not only lift our spirits, but it may also show someone else that Jesus is real and following him makes it a fine, fine life indeed.
