### Gracious Heavenly Father, A new day is dawning, and it’s time to wake up – to the new thing You are doing, to the new person You are creating in me, to the new desire You have placed in my heart, to the new life You have called me into. Lord, Sometimes, I feel like I’m living my life asleep. Sometimes, I don’t notice Your blessings, I don’t harken to Your voice, I don’t respond to Your Spirit, I don’t move to the beat of Your heart. I aimlessly wander through my day unaware, unresponsive, unmoved, unchanged. Wake me up, Father God. Pull off the blankets of complacency. Flip on the light of abundant, God-filled living. Take hold of my heart and help me step out of my sleep and step out into true life found only in You. I don’t want to live my life “sleep walking”, Lord. I want to be fully awake, fully alive, fully FULL of You. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
