God’s Word is Spirit and Life God has written His Word on our heart and mind and placed it in our mouth, so that we will confess it with our mouth, meditate on it with our mind and obey it with all of our hearts (Joshua 1:8). When we do this, we will prosper in all things and have success in every area of our life. God wants us to prosper and be successful. God wants us to confess His Word over our life and the lives of others. When we face negative situations and challenges, we can speak God’s Word over those problems till we win our victory over them and see our situations change. Jesus said, “… The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63), so speak His life into your dead, impossible situations, and cause them to come to life. Jesus cried out, "Lazarus, come forth!” and Lazarus, who was dead for four days, came to life (John 11:43,44). Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21). If you’re sick, speak God’s Word of healing over your body (Isaiah 53:4,5). If you’re troubled, speak His Word of peace (Philippians 4:6,7). If you need understanding for a particular task, speak His Word of wisdom (James 1:5). God’s Word has a solution for every predicament you may face. You can call those things that do not exist into existence when you speak the Word of God (Romans 4:17). All you need to do is meditate on His Word, speak it over your situation, and watch it come alive in your life. Prayer Lord Jesus, I thank You for making us in Your image and likeness, to call things into existence. Thank You for giving us powerful tongues to speak life into our situations. Help us to speak Your Words, which are spirit and life. Amen.
