## God’s Promises Anytime I see a rainbow, it reminds me of God’s promises. I always take a moment to stop and thank Him for those promises, but when we are caught in the busyness, chaos, and storms of life, it is very easy to forget His promises. We try to do it all on our own and forget to pause, pray, and remember His promises. There are many promises you can find throughout scripture, but today I just want to remind you of five. In the next few days, we will dig deeper into these promises and learn how to cling to the truth of God’s promises for you and your loved one. 1\. God will never leave you (or your loved one). > “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV 2\. God will always protect you (and your loved one). > “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV 3\. God will give you (and your loved one) strength for every battle. > “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 ESV 4\. God will give you (and your loved one) the graces necessary to endure all suffering. > But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 5\. God will never stop loving you (or your loved one). > “ so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19 So don't let the busyness, chaos, and storms of your life take you away from God’s promises. He is with you and your loved one today, tomorrow, and forever. > “The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.” Psalm 145:9 Today’s Challenge: Write down which of these five promise(s) you struggle with the most and why you struggle with it. Then ask God to remind you of those promises each day and write down when you see evidence of them in your life.
