Okay, let me be real with you for a second. I know I probably seem 1,000 years old to you, but I was your age once. (And yeah, it was almost 1,000 years ago.) I don't know about you, but I spent a lot of my teenage years wondering, "Uh, what do I do next?" I asked that question about smaller things (like figuring out how to drive, open a bank account, get a date, apply to jobs or schools, or whatever). And I asked it about big things (like making decisions about my future). I spent a lot of time wondering what to do next. But here's what I eventually learned. When things feel uncertain or unclear, and it's not easy to know which direction you should go, the best step you can take is the step that gets you closer to Jesus. Psalm 27 tells us to seek God's face when things get tough. So when things are confusing, and you're unsure what to do, remember that your next step is getting closer to God.
