Faith Foundations - How to Follow JesusSample

Based on our readings from day three, we discovered many instructions Jesus has given us as His followers. He’s asked us to love our enemies and pray for them (Matthew 5:43-44). Jesus also calls us to give to those in need and not brag about it (Matthew 6:3-4). In addition, Jesus gives us instructions on how to pray (Matthew 6:9-13) and tells us to forgive others (Matthew 6:14).
But wait—there’s more! Take time today to read these verses and identify what else Jesus is asking His followers to do.
Read: Matthew 6: 22; Matthew 6: 34; Matthew 7:1; Matthew 7: 12
Reflect: Based on the verses you read, what things does Jesus ask us to do?
Pray: Ask God to help you do the things listed in these Bible verses.
