Know the Power of I Am

DAY 2 OF 7

Let your faith be unbreakable! There is one thing that is inevitable in life, yet it may be one of the most difficult to experience growing up, and that is change. No matter how hard we try to avoid it, change will occur. Change in schools, whether transitioning from middle school to high school or a whole new school district, change will happen. It can be hard to endure. Just imagine, you go through life not noticing the changes because you have great friends to journey with you along the way. Then, the unthinkable happens. Your parents decide to move to a new town which will pull you away from all of your lifelong friends, and the change that used to seem subtle now seems unbearable. “ Why is this happening to me?!", m ay be your initial reaction. The truth is, sometimes we have no control or understanding of our parents' actions, but we must endure. You may not recognize the benefit for you at the moment, but trust even in the midst of this, God still has you in mind. Allow your faith to be unbreakable. When it seems that everything around you may be falling apart, or you are bending more than expected, let your faith stay anchored in Him. Change may be inevitable, but it doesn’t have to be unbearable. God trusts you with this new assignment. It may be a new school, new leadership role, job, or test; know that He trusts you with this assignment. He is growing you through this very challenge. Don’t lose sight of Him. Although you bend, don’t allow yourself or your faith to break. Repeat this Affirmation: I Am Unbreakable Change is happening daily. It could be as small as the growth of my hair to as large as relocation, but in the midst of it all, my faith will remain unbreakable. I have faith anchored in the Lord. No matter the task, although I may question, I will never doubt that God cares about all that concerns me. Dear Gracious Father, thank you for reminding me to keep my faith anchored in you.
