Identity in Christ: A 40 Day JourneySample

Part 3: Truths about me
Day 28: I am equipped
Facing challenges and difficulties is a reality for all of us. Trials can be gruelling, but even our day-to-day responsibilities can be tough and make us feel that we don’t ‘have it in us’ to do all that is required. It is so good and healthy to remind ourselves that God fully equips us to fulfil all the duties He has called us to. We produce fruit in our lives because Jesus is our strength, and the fruit glorifies God.
Let's Pray
Thank You, Lord, that through You I am equipped- I can do everything You have called me to do. Thank You that I lack nothing from Your hand; you fully strengthen me. I am sorry for the times I relied on my strength and tried to equip myself. I am sorry for the times I have believed that I am ill-equipped and lacking what I need to live to please You. You are all I need. I choose to believe today that I can: I can do all things because and only because it is You, Jesus, who strengthens me. I choose to draw from Your joy and Your Word. Please help me live with You as my only resource and believe that You are enough strength for me. Amen.

About this Plan

Knowing our identity in Christ - knowing who He says we are to Him - is one of the most powerful ways to enable ourselves to draw closer to God. Knowing our true identity is part of our roadmap to sanctification. We realise how free we truly are and how much He wants to lavish His love on us and fill our lives with purpose and meaning.
