Big Questions: 5 Things Preteens Want to KnowSample

Is God Disappointed in Me?
Everyone knows what it’s like to disappoint others or let someone down. It can be easy to think, “If my parents are disappointed in me, then surely God is, too.” It’s an awful feeling. Today, you’ll tackle a tough question: Is God disappointed in me? Watch this video for the response to that difficult question.
Pray: God, thank You for Your mercy and love. I mess up. I make choices I know I shouldn’t make. Sometimes I even think badly of myself. But that’s not how You view me. You are full of lovingkindness. Thank You for forgiving me and pulling me close every time I turn to You. Help me always to remember that. In Jesus’ name, amen.
