Under the Microscope: Taking a Closer Look at God's Creation.Sample

I’m sure we all faced some hardships over these past couple of years, especially when coronavirus seemed to shut down the world. When my school became virtual, all of a sudden, I became more isolated and lonelier than I had ever been before. I lost contact with most of my friends and any ability I might’ve had at being social. I missed out on my first year in middle school, and I was around my siblings all day every day.
We’ve all been through hard times before; they’re just part of life! In these times, sometimes we can begin to doubt whether God is really there for us, or wonder why God would let this happen to us. But God has an incredible plan in mind for all of us. Over my time in quarantine, I was blessed more than I realized at the time. My family became closer, and I had the time for so many more adventures, especially outside in creation. I was able to experience God all around me in creation, even when things weren’t going the way I planned or even wanted at times. I was reminded that God was still good even in the middle of something that doesn’t seem all that good.
So today, as you deal with whatever it is you are currently facing, look for God around you in creation. Then, tell a friend, small group leader, or another adult how you see God around you. Then, ask how they see God around them in creation, too!
