God spoke the earth into existence; he created the hills, valleys, stars, and the sea. When we praise God we are praising the creator of the world and the creator of our life. But, how do we worship? When we worship, we use the gifts that God has given us. Worship can be using our voice, our prayers, and our songs. We can worship God with our bodies in how we display and carry ourselves, our arms and hands in creating music to praise him. Those are just a few ways we can use our gifts to worship him! What is something God has given you that you can use to express your praise and worship to him? When we worship God, we tell him thank you, we give him honor and glory, we lift up the things he has done for us and the things we can trust him with. Worship is also a chance to connect with him when we are struggling. We surrender our worries and fears to him and choose to no longer let them. Challenge: Choose to use your gifts to worship God today, and specifically share one burden you want to surrender to him. Get your friends together and lead them in song, or play an instrumental piece to create a space of worship. Write a note to God, or spend time communicating to God in prayer.
