# Prayer for Moms with Adult Children ### By Samy, 19 Heavenly Father, thank You for my earthly mother. Thank You for her existence and Your faithfulness in her life. Thank You for extending Your grace and mercy to her in the same way You extend it daily to me and everyone else. Thank You for the ways she uniquely reflects beautiful aspects of who You are and thus reminds me to look at You. I ask that You continue to mold and shape her heart to look more like Yours. May she grow in courage, zeal, wisdom, patience, and trust. May she lean on You and only You in every season of life, and may You meet her in this season specifically in the way she needs it. I pray she would run to You with all her burdens or worries and practice daily surrender because no mother will ever grow out of needing to rely on You and rest in You, Father. May our relationship grow closer as we individually grow closer to You. Thank You again for who You are, Lord, for the person You created my mother to be, who You are continually shaping her to become, and I get to be her child through it all. Lastly, thank You that we both get to call You Father. Amen. ### By Denise, 35 Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for my mom. Thank You for how she raised me and poured wisdom and knowledge of You into me from such a young age. Thank You that she encouraged me to follow You, Jesus and that I’m living in the fruit of her prayers. I pray You would use her in our family, with her friends, and in her sphere of influence to encourage others to follow You. Protect her, guide her, show her Your love, and care for her as she selflessly cares for others. In Jesus' name. Amen.
