Jesus Is The Christ Jesus asks his disciples, "Who do you say I am?" and Peter replies - You are Christ, the Son of the Living God. And Jesus replies that it is God the Father who has revealed this to Peter. Even today, when we believe in Jesus as the Son of God, the Savior who died for us, this revelation comes through the Holy Spirit opening our spiritual eyes. We know this not because of our natural ability but the direct intervention of God in our lives. Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for opening our spiritual eyes through the Holy Spirit so that we have come to believe in Jesus Christ. We thank you, Jesus, for the abundant life that you give us through our relationship with you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
