Suit Up: The Spiritual BattleSample

Stand Your Ground
Listen to today's Scripture read aloud.
Notice the repetition of "stand" here in Ephesians 6:13. It comes up twice in one sentence. What is the significance of standing your ground? Have you ever heard someone joke after a difficult experience, "at least I'm still standing?"
Is there a time you have been able to stand your ground in the spiritual battle?
Consider this short film.
“Stand Your Ground” was written and performed by filmmaker Johnny Dutch. Johnny writes:
“In this story, we follow a young man as he battles between his flesh and spirit. Will he trust God and use the gospel as armor to defeat the enemy?”
What battles do you face that come down to endurance and prayer? The battle against temptation? Impatience? Despair? How can the armor of God protect you in those “evil days”?
