Year of the Bible: Part Two of Twelve Sample

Miracles Happen.
Finally, the promised son, Isaac, is born. His name means laughter, and Sarah said all those who saw her would laugh and rejoice with her.
On the day Isaac is weaned, Abraham threw a big feast to celebrate. Sarah sees Ishmael laughing and mocking Isaac, and she insists that Abraham send Ishmael and Hagar away. God tells Abraham to listen to Sarah and do what she says because God plans to fulfill His covenant through Isaac, not Ishmael.
Once again, we see God fulfilling His promise as He ordained it. The miracle of Sarah having a baby cannot be understated and shows that God keeps His word when the promise is humanly impossible.
Question: Have you ever seen God work a miracle?
Prayer Focus: Take some time to thank God for His miracles in your life.
