Commissioned to Love
Our Father in Heaven has poured ALL of His love into us in so many ways and with a distinct purpose for us in mind. Although He desires to share His love with us, He also wishes for us to share our love with others. As a perfect father, He leads by example, hoping that we will mimic His actions and words. Oh, how wonderful this life would be if everyone loved the way our Creator designed and commissioned us to love.
Isn’t it interesting that God gave us the ability to feel, touch, hug, laugh, cry, and express our feelings using many different means? Because God purposefully created us to give and receive love, we can also show our love in various creative ways. Communicating our feelings and being physically close to one another allows us to express our love fully and descriptively.
Ultimately, Jesus explained that it is equally as important to love God with all your heart as it is to love your neighbor. God made us intrinsically with love and expressly for love.
